A forest official always accompanies the visitors like a guide and gives details about animals and their behavior. Bandhavgarh National Park is an adventurous place with the animals sprawling freely in the huge forest area. Visitors must abide certain mandatory dos and don’ts to not get harmed and conserve the wildlife at the same time.
  • Drive slowly and steadily to witness and enjoy the living style of wild animals while ensuring not to tease or bother them
  • Maintain the path laid by forest department while driving the vehicle
  • If you drive off-trail, there is high possibility of damaging the greenery on the sides and disturb wild animals resting in shade. Stop your vehicle at a safe distance when an animal is spotted since, it is their home
  • Your safety is also our priority so, do not get down from the vehicle at any point of time to take pictures or video
  • Be a responsible citizen by carrying eco-friendly substances. Collect all the non-recyclable garbage into disposable bags and dump them in dust-bin on your way out
  • Do not carry inflammable items into the park
  • Do take the vehicles provided by forest officials rather than your own vehicle even though you are permitted to do so. This will reduce pollution and maintain the habitat for wildlife
  • Make sure you are always by the side of forest official or guide and move as directed
  • Move in groups within the park and try not to split away
  • Do not shout or scream to draw the attention of a wild cat or animal as it may get disturbed and angry
  • Turn the flash off of your shutterbugs. Again, it could also distract or scare the animals
